The Permian 3245 & 1645 series lube oil filters each have the following features:

• The element is a homogenous blend of cotton and wood excelsior fibers, ensuring that the total oil flow is filtered to the same efficiency.
• The element is constructed by winding the filter mat around a spiral locked center core for strength and consistency.
• Extremely strong. Can withstand over 150 PSI differential.
• Complete compatibility with all lubricating oils.

Flow Characteristics

The Permian 3245 & 1645 series are designed for three specific conditions. The elements having the "H" blend are for use in systems having a relatively low flowrate and afford superior filtration. The elements having the "KM" blend are direct replacements for the original equipment. The elements having the "MU" blend are for extreme conditions such as very cold start-up, high flow, etc. These filter elements will function as well, if not better, than the original equipment models.
